Wow! What a difference a week makes. Today we found ourselves basking in the sunshine, compared to last week, when we were listening to huge raindrops hit the tarp.
Today’s sessions started with a barrage of fun, including Sneaky Snake, Sleeping Squirrels and at the request of one of our little forest friends, a woodland treasure hunt!
Basil was extremely pleased to have some luxury shelters built for him and the introduction of the hammock was another huge hit. Although there was more swinging than sleeping going on!
This was the end of a six week block for these groups. Looking back to the first week, it’s amazing to see how much progress they’ve made in such a short space of time. Their confidence in the outdoors has certainly grown; in particular their physical development has come on strides.
So now we’re looking forward to our new groups who start after the holiday.
